The Community Cafe was launched in June 2008 and since then has gone from strength to strength. We regularly see between 30 and 40 people who come to meet in a friendly environment and enjoy reasonably price tea/coffee/ hot chocolate and home-made cakes. The cafe is non-profit making and its main purpose is to serve the community by providing a safe meeting place where they can enjoy friendship and benefit from prayer support, if requested, and news of what is going on in the church and local community. The cafe is open to all and is an ideal rendezvous for young Mums taking children to and from Nutkins Pre School (which meets on the church premises) and people visiting the library adjoining the church and the local shops. The Community Cafe regularly supports local charities by having cake stalls and donating any surplus funds.
Fairtrade goods are used where ever possible and are sometimes available to buy. There is easy access for wheelchair and disability scooter users.
A warm welcome awaits you every Thursday from 10:00am – 12:00 noon.
