Here at Hope we have a range of programmes and activities for children and families. Our experienced and enthusiastic volunteer teams all work hard every week to provide fun groups for over 150 children.

Children & Families Action group
The Children and Families Action group is responsible for overseeing this fun and sometimes noisy and messy ministry for children from birth to School Year 2 and their families.
We meet regularly to co-ordinate and plan our busy programme and events, support the Minister(s), staff and volunteer team, develop ideas and initiatives for nurturing our links with families and much, much more…
As a church we are currently seeking God’s vision for the Church and our Children’s Ministry.
“We will not hide God’s truths from this generation.
We will tell them the awesome things He has done…
So the next generation might know them – even the children not yet born. So each generation can set its hope anew on God.”
We recognise that the safety and well being of children and young people in our care is of paramount importance. At Hope Baptist Church we operate The Baptist Union’s Safe To Grow policy for the care and protection of children and young people. Checks are carried out with the Criminal Records Bureau on everyone regularly working with children and young people in Hope. The church is committed to supporting, resourcing and training those who work with children and young people.
